Great Plains Beauty featured @ NatureWriting

In centuries past, Faeries cultivated the loyal Welsh Corgi as noble steeds for their warriors. Since Welsh farmers bred Corgis for herding cattle and sheep, they often sleep in barns, or outside. Then, when the farmer’s household settles in for the evening, the Corgis easily slip away into the Welsh hills to frolic with the Wee People. Some folklorists contend that those who have an empathetic nature, open heart, and a keen eye, will see the faint faerie saddle, and harness marks in the Corgis fur.
